Stephen Applebaum, CPA

Treasurer

After graduating with a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, Steve started his career with the national accounting firm now known as Deloitte LLP, and received a CPA in 1970.  He joined JEVS Human Services in 1976 as the Chief Financial Officer, and for thirty years helped steer the agency on a sound course of growth and expansion.  After retiring in 2006, Steve has enjoyed a busy retirement, serving as treasurer of JSPAN; helping two days a week at his son’s restaurant, Cajun Kate’s, at the Booth’s Corner Farmers Market, in Boothwyn, Delaware County; traveling; and spending time with family.
