JSPAN presents "Ethical Choices When Medicine Can't Save Your Life"

On Thursday, April 14, JSPAN presented a special Bioethics program at Main Line Reform Temple Beth Elohim, in Wynnewood.  There was a video and panel discussion with a nationally-known panel of experts and questions from the audience.  The moderator of the program was Arthur Caplan, Director of the Center for Bioethics and Professor of Medical Ethics, University of Pennsylvania.  The panelists (left to right) included:  Dr. Michael Levy, Vice Chairman, Medical Oncology and Director, Pain & Palliative Care, Fox Chase Cancer Center; Prof. Barry Furrow, Director, Health Law Program, Earle Macke School of Law, Drexel University; Dr. Susan Denman, Specialist in Geriatric Medicine; and Rabbi Richard Address, Director, Department of Family Concerns, Union for Reform Judaism
